Happy New Year To All!!! I hope this year is good to all of us!! May we ALL lose the weight that we are aiming for, and have the willpower to do so!!!
Did everyone have their pork & sauerkraut today?? It is supposed to bring you good luck for a prosperous year!! I had never heard of this before I met my husband, so now we HAVE to cook pork loin, and kraut on the 1st every year. Last year it sure didn’t work as far as the prosperous side tho, lol!! Hopefully things will look up in 2008!!!
This is my 4th day, and I am SO motivated, and hope that it continues on!! I am drinking a lot more water, and less Diet Dew, so hopefully that will help! I have a horrible time eating 3 meals a day tho!! I need to get on track with that instead of not eating til around supper time, then at night I wanna snack. grrrr I hope the scales show a loss as well on Saturday!!
I took our Christmas tree down today, so finally there will be no bows, or ornaments to pick up around the house. Our kitten Jaide, turned 4 mos. old today, and she is quite upset that I took her “toys” away from her. lolol

More water and less Dew is fantastic. Keep that trend up. And keep in mind that our metabolism is at its slowest in the evening so if you snack late at night, that food’s not going anywhere. Do your healthy snacking during the day if possible and avoid late dinners. Good luck with all your goals and I hope you find great success this year!

Our family has always made black eyed peas, cabbage, rice & cornbread for the 1st. I didnt eat it this year. Mainly because my mom is the one that has always made it & she was working. We just did that when I was a kid.
When I started trying to lose weight I wasnt keeping my niece,so I found it easier to stop & eat. Now that she is here all day, I miss meals if I am not careful.I have found,for me, its easier to eat 6 mini meals a day instead of 3 larger ones. She seems to like snack times with Aunt TeeTee too. lol
