Week One

Well, week one wasn’t exactly what I expected, especially after giving up all the goodies New Years Eve. I was SO excited to get on the scale this morning! I eagerly jumped on the scale, and lost ………1 pound. I was pretty well bummed out, and then after thinking about it, realized had I not watched what I did eat this past week, I very well could have packed on 2,3, or evn 5 more pounds easily! After that I figured hey, I’m 1 pound closer to my mini goal!! I do know that I have to start eating either 3 meals a day, or 6 mini meals, because I find myself snacking into the evening, and I am a night owl, so sometimes it is quite late when I am snacking. My snacks are healthy snacks, but, I’m STILL eating, then going to bed.  So…this week I am going to try to do just that, and just maybe the scale will show a better loss. But…..I am sticking to it!!    Take care~Jill

A loss is a loss. Enjoy it and be proud of it.

Sometimes I think that seeing a small loss helps up learn more than a big one.

That’s exactly what’s happening here, you’re looking back on the last week and seeing what you can improve on.

You’re doing great, be proud of yourself.

I completely agree with you - a one-pound loss, or even staying the same, is much better than not working at it and gaining weight! THAT in and of itself is a success!! Congrats!! Learn from the past as Erika says - but don’t fall into the trap of beating yourself up about it. Keep your focus on your goals and keep plugging at it, day by day, meal by meal!! You will get there!!

A ONE POUND loss is a huge deal, always take it and celebrate…even when expecting big losses, because every ounce you lose is one step closer to your goal!! AND it’s better than maintaining and gaining!! SO pat yourself on the back and celebrate!

    Hey there,
Good job with your weight loss. Sure, you may be disappointed that it was only one pound, but each day you are finding something else to improve on and that’s one less pound that you had last week! Keep it up, we are all rooting for you!
